- Temperature: Heat guns can reach temperatures up to 1200ºF whereas hair dryers typically range between 80ºF - 140ºF .
- Application: Heat guns are for industrial use and will allow you to achieve a much more even and consistent application than hair dryers.
- Speed: Due to the higher temperature, heat guns are able to apply shrink bands and sleeves at a more efficient rate
